A Contemporary Shaker Barn Conversion

Working with our retail showroom partner, we created a contemporary in-frame staff bead shaker for this stunning barn conversion in London. 

When faced with limited worktop space, the designers incorporated a kitchen island into their design. Not only did it provide additional storage options for the homeowners, but it also served as the focal point of the room. The designers also made sure to include a breakfast bar extension, transforming the kitchen into a versatile workspace that can be enjoyed by the entire family.

The designers wished to include two tones into this barn conversion and thanks to our unlimited paint spectrum, we were able to meet our partners wishes by hand painting the in-frame kitchen in Drury Lane and Islington by Mylands. 

When designing a kitchen, it is really important to think of every space in the room; for this project, we worked with our partners to create a contemporary dining room side board. To complement the traditional beams in this barn conversion, natural oak was used for the worktop and the cabinet was hand painted in Islington by Mylands to match with the kitchen. 

Surround appliances are a great way to allow kitchen essentials to really fit in with your designs. For this project, the designers opted for floor-to-ceiling cabinetry to surround the fridge-freezer and wine cooler, whilst also supplying the homeowners with additional storage cupboards. 

We manufacture numerous different wine rack styles which ensure each new project is unique to your client. For this project, our wine rack base scallop design was chosen to allow for the drinks to sit seamlessly inside; we also offer pigeon-hole wine racks with absolutely no size limitations! 

The beauty in bespoke allows us to offer a wide range of storage solutions. For example, this contemporary barn conversion features our broom larder unit packed with handmade zig-zag shelving, spice racks, and toaster drawers all strongly bonded together with dovetail joints.
