Spotlight on - Eaton Square

Eaton Square is one of our retail partners. We have been successfully working together for four years, creating numerous outstanding projects.

Tell us a little about your business?
Eaton Square Interiors is primarily a mid to high-end “boutique” kitchen company specialising in designing sophisticated rooms for professional clients with bespoke cabinetry and quality fixtures and fittings. We offer an unparalleled personal interior design and project management service to our clients. At any given time, we choose to work with a relatively small number of clients so we are able to devote a lot of time and positive energy to each project.

Why did you choose to partner with Arbor Lane?
I was working for a local kitchen and worktop company where I met Sean, Arbor Lanes' Commercial Manager. When I decided to launch Eaton Square Interiors,  I planned to work with Arbor Lane from the start, as a retail partner. I chose to work with Arbor Lane for numerous reasons but the top 3 are:-

  1. The staff that I have met at Arbor Lane are thoroughly lovely people; so approachable, helpful, knowledgeable and professional.
  2. The high quality and style of the cabinetry is fantastic and what my clients want.
  3. Dependable, reliable and supportive. I can count on Arbor Lane to always deliver on time with a very quick response in after-care, remedials or more materials.

What trends are you seeing emerge as we head towards the end of 2022?
For kitchens, my clients are still choosing light grey cabinetry with slubby blue islands as it is such a beautiful combination so I am afraid there is not much change on the colour front this year! However, having recently completed a utility room painted in Mylands Maritime, I am smitten with the dark ceiling, dark walls, dark cabinets, dark woodwork and Ca’Pietra bright patterned floor tiles. This combination looks stunning in a window-less room so I will definitely be sharing this design with clients and looking for unloved cubby holes to convert! Minimalism works well, not only for cleaning but also for stress free living so having lots of beautiful cabinet doors is key in my designs. Wide docking drawers are our next design “must-have” since charging wires and tablets or mobiles can look messy on top of your beautiful quartz worktops.

What has been your favourite Arbor Lane project?

It is difficult to choose as all the projects I have designed have been so different overall despite the blues and greys! For relative ease and speed, I think one of my first designs of a bespoke wardrobe come home study area in a guest room is a firm favourite. The cabinetry was designed for clients who had recently moved into a stunning red-brick and stone townhouse which sits in the grounds of the grand old Winchester Barracks so the setting and location is heavenly.  The rooms had immensely tall ceilings so we were able to upsize the bespoke cabinetry. When fitted, it looked absolutely stunning and the clients were delighted. It surpassed my expectations too! The clients are keen for me to design their kitchen next so I am looking forward to working with them and Arbor Lane again in the future.
