1. Quotation Validity

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be subject to change due to material cost fluctuations.
We reserve the right to amend or withdraw a quotation at any time prior to
acceptance.

2. Payment Terms & Time-Frames

Initial Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your order. This deposit is
based on estimated costs provided up to that point. While we strive to make these
estimates as accurate and detailed as possible, the final cost is subject to change
once the manufacturing drawings commence due to the bespoke nature of our
products.

Changes to the final quotation may arise either from:

 Client requests during the design and drawing process, or
 Requirements identified by Arbor Lane Ltd as necessary to ensure product
quality.

Upon receipt of the deposit, the manufacturing drawing pack will be produced.
No delivery date can be confirmed until both the final quotation and drawing
pack have been reviewed and signed off by the client.

Any lead times or delivery schedules discussed prior to this are indicative only
and subject to change.

Lead times are subject to availability of materials and capacity, and may vary
depending on the complexity of the project.

Post Sign-off Design Changes: Once drawings are signed off, the production
process is started immediately and therefore, any changes to designs or drawings
after this point cannot be implemented. Any changes requested after final drawing
pack approval would be subject to changes to delivery dates and could incur
additional costs.

Final Invoice & Balance Payment

Once the signed-off manufacturing pack and final quotation are approved, an earliest
delivery date will be assigned. If a later delivery date is required, Arbor Lane Ltd must
be informed within 48 hours. After 48 hours, the project will automatically be moved
to production and any date alterations after this point may incur additional storage
charges. Please note, final invoice will be due based on the original assigned delivery
date if a delay is requested after the 48-hour time limit from the delivery date
assignment.

The remaining balance is due no later than two weeks prior to the originally
agreed delivery date.

Late payment of the balance may result in delays to the agreed delivery date.

3. Colour & Material Variations

Timber & Worktop Variations

Natural materials such as timber inherently vary in grain, colour, and surface
markings. Samples provided are indicative only and may not represent the final
product exactly.

Paint Colour Matching

We use high-quality trade paints selected for their suitability to timber and MDF
substrates. While we endeavour to match colours as closely as possible to client
specifications, slight variations can occur due to differences in materials, finishes,
and sheen levels. Exact visual matches to third-party colour references cannot be
guaranteed.

Batch-to-batch variation may also occur and is considered a normal characteristic of
painted finishes.

4. Storage & Delay Charges

Once a delivery date is assigned (the earliest available slot) and advised to the client,
there is a two working day window to request a later delivery date.

After this period, the project will move into the production schedule automatically, and
any changes to the agreed delivery date will be subject to storage charges below.

Storage & Delivery Charges:

Delivery to storage:
 3.5T: £150
 7.5T: £250
 18T: £350
Weekly storage:
 £4 per pallet space (1200 x 1000mm)
 Handling: £1.14 per pallet in/out

These fees are in addition to the standard delivery charge.

5. Delivery

Once your order and specifications are finalised, a delivery date will be confirmed.
Standard delivery is kerbside only, using unbranded vehicles. It is the client’s
responsibility to offload the goods, and risk passes to the client upon delivery.
Photography of the delivery is taken upon dispatch by Arbor Lane and upon delivery
by the carrier.

A white glove delivery service is available upon request and must be agreed in
advance.

Arbor Lane is not liable for any damage caused by third parties (e.g. builders,
tradespeople) or due to restricted or unsuitable site access.
Photography of the delivery is taken upon dispatch by Arbor Lane and upon delivery
by the carrier.

The client is responsible for ensuring that the site is adequately prepared for delivery
and installation, including providing clear access for delivery vehicles and any
necessary adjustments to existing structures.
If the site is not adequately prepared for delivery or installation, additional charges
may apply for rescheduling or delays caused by site access issues.

6. Goods in Transit

Once final payment has been received and the delivery vehicle is booked, a
notification email will be sent to the client confirming the delivery method and
scheduled date.

Claims for Damaged or Missing Goods

 Damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery and supported with
photographs (1 x wide view and 1 x close-up, taken no closer than 1 metre).
 Missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Claims made outside these timeframes may not be accepted.

7. Returns & Cancellations

Due to the bespoke nature of our products, returns and cancellations are not
accepted once production has commenced.

In exceptional cases, cancellation before the start of manufacturing may be permitted
at the company’s discretion, but the deposit remains non-refundable.

8. Ownership & Risk

All goods remain the property of Arbor Lane Ltd until paid for in full.
Risk passes to the client upon delivery.

9. Warranty

Arbor Lane Ltd offers a 5 year warranty on all products against manufacturing
defects, starting from the date of delivery.

This warranty does not cover:

 Damage due to misuse, accidents or improper installation
 Normal wear and tear
 Environmental factors (e.g. damp, heat, direct sunlight)

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing with photographic evidence.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for any delay or failure to perform under these terms
due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of
God, war, terrorism, strikes, government restrictions, or supply chain disruptions.

11. Limitation of Liability

Arbor Lane Ltd’s liability under this agreement is limited to the total value of the
contract, excluding any indirect or consequential losses.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through
mediation before pursuing legal action.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
